United Hope Ministries "The Word Church"

Our Story

How it all started...

United Hope Ministries is a community of believers of Jesus Christ, doing life together. Everything that we do is centered around growing in learning, serving and giving to bring glory to God. We believe that God is the head of our church and sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins that we may be saved. We believe that Jesus is calling us to go into our communities and the world, and lead others to Christ.

With only couple  members, United Hope Ministries was founded in 2001 in Bowman,SC by, Apostle, Elizabeth Dupree. Through our obedience to God’s divine direction and guidance,  Apostle Elizabeth Dupree has flourished and is impacting our community in awesome ways.

We are excited to see what God has in store for the United Hope Ministries family and how he will continue to use us to impact our city and beyond.

Join us today as majestic faith blossoms alongside hard work into an even brighter tomorrow!

Where we are headed...

Over the years, the church has continuously adapted its expressions, buildings, and traditions to keep pace with society's evolving needs. This adaptability has undoubtedly contributed to its continuing growth, relevance, and ability to reach a broader audience. However, while change is vital, there are certain critical functions that every local church must prioritize and develop for the sustained spiritual growth of its congregation. These five essential ministries include Praise and Worship, Local Outreach, Preaching and Teaching, Guest Services, and Children's Ministry. By investing time, energy, and resources into these crucial areas, local churches can ensure they are providing an environment conducive to building a thriving faith community that not only nurtures its members but also extends a welcoming hand to those searching for spiritual guidance and growth.
